The "Book" Store Technology is available today that makes it very feasible for a person to be widely heard – to be heard far beyond the circle of those who actually know him and his life. This is a mixed blessing of the first order; it dramatically enlarges the potential scope of almost any person’s ministry, but it may short-circuit the mechanisms of critical assessment and accountability which are practically and morally appropriate to any teaching ministry. On this page you will find some teaching resources which I humbly offer in the sincere hope they might be a help to some. The list is short because we are just getting started in this endeavor; I am planning to expand the list. But please know that I offer these fully in mind of the caveats implicit in what I said above. Very possibly I have no moral or intellectual purchase in your mind, no store of earned credibility. I will solemnly swear that in all of the teaching on these resources I have endeavored to be faithful to the Scriptures, and that there is in this offer no motive other than to be a help to some. But that oath is all too easily taken, and from afar it is almost impossible for you to test its integrity. And so, in light of all that, I offer these resources with the following provisos. The price for each item is very modest, but it would be a great help if you are willing and able to pay that price. If you are persuaded that you would be helped by any of these, but you are genuinely unable to pay the price listed, please send whatever you are able to send – two turtledoves, perhaps, or even a tenth of an ephah of fine flour (Lev 5:7-11). If you find yourself in such tight times that you really cannot afford to send anything, but you would carefully put to use the resource offered, please send a note; we will gladly send you that which would be a help to you. If you receive the resource and find it so unhelpful as to be not worth the price you paid, please let us know what you paid and we will refund that amount to you.
